Artist Statement: I hope those of you who view my images can feel the love I have for the area where I live. The Loess Hills have always instilled in me a sense of wonder, delight and always a sense of peace.

Artist Bio: I am an avid landscape and nature photographer who loves capturing the many beautiful and unique aspects of the Loess Hills where I have lived my entire life. I grew upin the Loess Hills of Monona county Iowa between the towns of Soldier and Moorhead. I now reside along the edge of the Loess Hills south of the town of Turin. The name of my photography comes fro the fact when you look out my back door, it’s hilly. When you look out my front door it’s flat! Hence “Hilly Flats Photography”.
