Pamela Peterson Linn

Linn Farm Hospitality

Pierson, IA

Artist's Statement: Most of my inspiration comes from my family, traveling and my love of cooking. In recent years I have taken note and explored more deeply my Scandinavian family history and heritage. I discovered that many of the "ordinary" things in my childhood were intentional and carried deep meaning with them, across the Atlantic. This has also become a well of inspiration to both my husband and I as we get ready to share this with our guests.

Artist's Bio: Pamela is the co owner-operator of Linn Farm Hospitality and is a self-taught chef and caterer with 40 years of experience. From small-town Wisconsin, she relocated to Pierson when she married her husband, Andy Linn, and moved to their 4th generation grain farm. She has pursued culinary studies in several countries including Italy, Finland, Hungary, South Africa, Poland and most notably, a week of courses at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, France. Recently she has taken a deep dive into hers and Andy's American-Scandinavian roots, learning Nordic classics to serve to their guests. Pamela is also a coloring book artists and painter when she finds the time.
