Artist's Statement: I love glass. Cutting and designing pieces makes me calm and relaxed. My art is my vacation from real life. I can go to my studio, play my music and create. Each piece is unique, each an original. I also love the way light reflects and refracts off the glass giving it layers and depth.
Artist's Bio: I’m from Sioux City. I’m a teacher at my day job, which I love. My artistic side comes from my father who was an engineer, who painted, sculpted, sewed, knitted and created beauty in many mediums. Glass is my first art love. I also make mala bracelets and necklaces. My husband is also a teacher, who is an artist and he encourages and supports my art pursuits.
